Background
Dale R. Green, CPA, is a seasoned tax executive with more than two decades of leadership experience guiding multinational corporations through complex U.S. and international tax landscapes. He has a deep technical experience of ASC 740 and income tax accounting, combined with extensive expertise in global tax planning, compliance, systems implementation, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Dale currently serves as Tax Director at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS). In this role, he oversees treasury and foundation functions and all global aspects of quarterly and annual tax provision reporting, tax compliance, and tax technology enhancements. He manages tax staff and external service providers, and partners closely with Finance, Legal, and executive leadership on tax strategy.
Previously, Dale held Tax Director roles at PACCAR, Inc., Univar, Inc., Intermec, Inc. and WatchGuard Technologies, where he managed worldwide tax operations, SEC reporting, cross-border tax compliance, foreign entity filings, tax audits, and tax planning for organizations operating across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His work included leading acquisitions, restructuring initiatives, and international expansions.
Dale began his career with Deloitte & Touche, where he spent over five years managing a wide range of tax projects—including restructuring, technical research, multi-state taxation, audit defense, and due diligence—across diverse industries and tax jurisdictions.
Dale holds both a Master of Accountancy in Tax and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese. He is proficient in leading tax research and compliance platforms including CCH, RIA, BNA, OneSource, Corp-Tax, Vertex, and Avalara, and is experienced with systems such as SAP, Alteryx, Snowflake, and Microsoft Office.
