Heather Norko is currently VP of Tax and Treasury at Elastic N.V., a search technology company based in Mountain View, California. Bringing more than 25 years of diverse tax and finance experience, she leads a distributive and remote tax and treasury function in all faucets of corporate income tax (tax planning, provision, M&A due diligence and integration, audits) and corporate treasury (forecasting, liquidity management and investing). She has extensive experience in leading large, cross functional projects, implementing automation processes, and enhancing SOX controls while creating efficiencies to reallocate time to value added activities.

Heather started her career in tax at KPMG is Stamford, Connecticut working in audit then tax functions. She worked for over 13 years at Praxair, Inc. where she gained valuable experience in all multiple areas of tax while leading the inhouse corporate income tax team. After Praxair, at Ann Inc. (parent company of Ann Taylor), as Head of Tax, she developed SOX controls and automation for risk mitigation while leading a team in a co-sourcing arrangement. In 2015, Heather took the role as Head of Tax at Cotiviti, representing the tax function in the IPO process while building the inhouse tax team from the ground up.
